Louise Aylwin

QUALIFICATIONS: Chartered Physiotherapist, HPC & CSP Member

Louise graduated from Queen Margaret University in Physiotherapy and also has a BSc in Exercise and Sport Science from Exeter University. Louise specialises in MSK and sports injuries. Louise is currently doing her MSc in Sports Physiotherapy at Bath.

Louise has worked as a sports physiotherapist for a range of elite sports including England Rugby Seven’s, European Tour Golf, Fulham Football Club Academy, ATP tennis players, WTA tennis tournament in Japan, Great Britain athletes and as a sports masseuse at the England Saxons 2011, Rugby World Cup 2007 and WTA tennis tour in Asia.

Louise was a competitive athlete and she competed nationally as a 400m hurdler. Being a motivated and enthusiastic sportswoman reflects her ability and enjoyment when working with clients across a variety of sporting disciplines.

Louise has a passion for helping people and guiding them through their recovery. She has wide range of experience in treating various injuries and focuses on treating the cause of the injury rather than just the symptoms. Louise believes it is essential to have a good relationship with all members of a patient’s rehabilitation team and has developed great relationships with an extensive network of consultants, local GPs, massage therapists, and personal trainers. Louise is passionate about getting you back to where you want to be, whether your focus is returning to work, sport or activity following surgery or injury, she will guide you completely.

Louise is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine (ACPSM).
