SANGI PATEL – Chartered Physiotherapist
QUALIFICATIONS: HPC & CSP Member, BSc Physiotherapy, MSc Sports Physiotherapy, MCSP MAACP MHCPC IICT registered
Sangi is a highly experienced Sports Physiotherpaist. She qualified from Kings College University in 2004 and started her career at the Royal Free Hospital whilst working part time for Crystal Palace FC. For almost 10 years she followed her passion of sport and worked in professional football.
She became Head Physiotherapist of Crystal Palace FC Academy in 2006. Sangi then moved to manage the 1st team at QPR FC. Here she became part of a medical team who worked hard at implementing preventative medicine, proudly holding the 2011-2012 record of the least injuries in the Premier League.
Whilst working within football Sangi completed her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy at Bath University in 2010. She then went on to complete her post graduate qualification in Sports and Exercise Nutrition.
Sangi currently splits her time between private practice, Athletics and the WTA. She most recently worked at the IAAF World Championships and at the 2017 Wimbledon qualifiers.
Having been exposed to several lower limb injuries, Sangi has a special interest and expertise in this area. She is a keen tennis player, having represented England in her competitive career. She also enjoys Boxing, Yoga and writing.
