About Jake

Jake also has a clinical interest in the assessment and rehabilitation of adolescent sports injuries which is a specialist area he developed during his time working within elite sports academy settings. He treats children and adolescents from the age of 8 upwards with sporting and musculoskeletal injuries. In addition to his clinical work, Jake is actively involved in professional organisations, serving as a regional representative for the ACPSEM (Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports and Exercise Medicine) for London and the South East, and holding ACPSEM Bronze accreditation.

He has contributed to academia through guest lecturing on the UCL Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health MSc programme and is a UKAD-accredited clean sports advisor, having completed the FIFA medical diploma. Jake is also qualified in sports massage, sports taping, medical acupuncture/dry needling, and sports trauma management. Beyond his professional endeavours, Jake is an avid reader and enjoys activities like cycling, judo, padel and bouldering.

He also volunteers at a community food project and remains a loyal supporter of QPR FC.
