Lachlan Kern

About Lachlan

Lachlan is an Australian-trained musculoskeletal physiotherapist, graduating in 2015. He has 11 years of experience in private practice and more recently has combined this with advanced-practice roles within the NHS as an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist.

In private practice, Lachlan’s particular clinical interests are shoulder, hip and knee injuries, as well as persistent tendon pain. Alongside these interests, he has extensive experience providing post-operative rehabilitation across a wide range of orthopaedic procedures, working with both sporting and general populations. Within the sporting population, Lachlan has particular experience working with runners and racquet-sport athletes.

His postgraduate qualifications include independent prescribing and soft-tissue and joint injection therapy. Alongside this, Lachlan is currently undertaking postgraduate training in musculoskeletal ultrasound, with the aim of integrating it into his practice to support diagnostic assessment, enhance patient education and guide more targeted treatment and rehabilitation.

Having previously played competitive tennis, Lachlan is now a considerably more amateur tag-rugby player, runner and surfer. Outside the clinic, he also enjoys hiking and travelling in search of his next trail or surf destination.
