Alastair has been working as a highly specialised musculoskeletal physiotherapist for over 20 years.

After initially undertaking a BSc in Physiotherapy, Alastair has further developed and enhanced his physiotherapy skills and knowledge by completing a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine and a Postgraduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Ultrasound.

Alastair places a significant emphasis on obtaining a detailed and timely diagnosis for each and every patient. This is achieved by utilising his expert assessment skills gained from his extensive experience, implementing diagnostic ultrasound and making appropriate referrals for MRI’s and to orthopaedic consultants when required.

With years of hands-on experience and a pursuit of knowledge, Alastair specialises in a wide range of therapeutic techniques tailored to address each patient’s individual needs. Alastair’s special interests include Achilles and Patella tendinopathy, knee pathologies such as ACL or meniscus injuries, and shoulder injuries.
