QUALIFICATIONS: BSc (Hons) Sport Science, BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy MCSP MAACP MHCPC
David initially qualified as a Sport and Exercise Scientist in 1994 and subsequently qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1999. These two qualifications have complemented each other in his treatment of a wide range of patients from the sedentary to the high level athlete. He has fulfilled roles both in a major London teaching hospital and the private sector working extensively with patients suffering from neuromusculoskeletal conditions including sporting injuries, both traumatic and overuse, work-related disorders, problems related to inactivity, and chronic pain. He has also worked alongside an occupational health team in managing work-related problems, including the assessment of task ergonomics, and has worked closely with orthopaedic, spinal and neurosurgeons in optimising post-operative recovery.
