Michael Tegerdine

QUALIFICATIONS: Chartered Physiotherapist

Michael has gained a vast about of experience in assessing and managing a wide variety of musculo-skeletal conditions whilst working at large teaching hospitals in Essex and London. He has fulfilled roles in the private sector working extensively with patients suffering from neuro musculoskeletal conditions including sporting injuries, both traumatic and overuse, work-related disorders, problems related to inactivity, and chronic pain.

Michael initially qualified as a Sport and Exercise Scientist and after publishing researching the Journal of Sport Science he subsequently qualified as a Physiotherapist. These two qualifications have complemented each other in his treatment of a wide range of patients from the sedentary to the high level athlete.

He has previously worked as a lead squash & table tennis physiotherapist at the Common Wealth Games, Glasgow, 2014, and has also worked separately in competitive squash, martial arts, running, cycling and rugby.  He uses a variety of manual treatment techniques including joint manipulation, soft tissue therapy, K-Taping, exercise and acupuncture dry needling to get his clients out of pain and back to full function.

He currently splits his time between Complete Physio and Complete Pilates where he combines his hands on treatment with well-structured and functional rehabilitation following an injury or operation.
