QUALIFICATIONS: Chartered Physiotherapist, HCPC registered
Pedro began his physiotherapy career in Portugal. With a special interest in sport, he worked at FC Porto youth football academy for four years before moving up to the professional level. Alongside working with professional athletes, Pedro continued to provide care to the general population and amateur athletes. He feels that the knowledge, professionalism, and care given to professional athletes should be available to all. With this in mind, Pedro has extended his expertise to the private practice sector.
Pedro has undertaken post graduate training in manual therapy, sports physiotherapy, and numerous strength and conditioning courses. He treats patients with both acute and chronic injuries and believes that injury is an opportunity to change for the better in the long-term, and he promotes this in his practice. Pedro believes in an active and patient-empowering approach, focusing on the root cause of the problem to achieve the best short- and long-term outcomes.
Having moved to London at the end of 2019, Pedro is now focused on his private practice in London, whilst continuing the work he has been developing with athletes from the English Premier League and the German Bundesliga.
Pedro likes to travel, explore new places, and is a keen sportsman. He regularly plays football, tennis, and enjoys strength training in the gym………practising what he preaches. He also speaks three languages!
