About Stuart

Stuart is an Australian trained, Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist with extensive experience in private practice environments. His main clinical specialty involves treating patients with shoulder, knee, and ankle injuries, with particular experience in tendon related injuries, along with gym based and racket sports athletes.

Stuart has also undertaken additional qualifications and training in Diagnostic Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, which provides an invaluable tool when integrated into the assessment and decision-making process. Further technology, such as VALD force plates, dynamometers and video analysis are also utilised to identify the needs of each individual patient, allowing a patient-centred and evidence-based treatment plan to be formulated.

Since graduating from La Trobe University in 2013, Stuart has worked in Australia, the UK and the UAE within private practice and amateur/elite sporting environments. This includes being pitch side with elite CrossFit athletes, elite tennis players, and top-rated school age rugby players throughout tournaments and in clinic.

These varied experiences have provided Stuart the opportunity to work with a wide spectrum of patients, with differing needs including managing busy family lives, desk-based or active jobs, post-operative rehabilitation and a variety of athletic needs and goals.

Outside of work Stuart is a keen traveller, often searching for hiking trails in new countries that he is able to visit, as well as being a regular in the gym following a stint in competitive powerlifting in previous years.
