JENNIFER PARR – Specialist Hand Therapist
Jennifer is a highly experienced hand therapist specialising in the assessment and treatment of hand, wrist, and upper limb conditions. She has extensive experience managing acute trauma, post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and long-term upper limb conditions across both the NHS and private practice.
Jennifer has worked exclusively within hand therapy since 2018 and was previously the Hands Service Lead at Six Physio, where she played a key role in developing and leading hand therapy services across multiple London clinics. Alongside her private practice experience, she has worked within specialist hand therapy teams at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, The London Clinic, and St John & St Elizabeth Hospital.
She has a particular interest in helping patients return to the activities most important to them, whether that is elite sport, music, work, or everyday life. Jennifer has worked with many professional and elite athletes, including Premier League footballers, Formula 1 drivers, Scottish Rugby and England Cricket players, alongside musicians and performing artists. She is also a registered practitioner with BAPAM (British Association for Performing Arts Medicine), supporting performers with upper limb injuries and performance-related conditions.
Jennifer takes a patient-centred approach to rehabilitation, combining hands-on treatment, exercise rehabilitation, education, and bespoke splinting to help patients regain confidence and function following injury or surgery.
She is passionate about delivering high quality, evidence-based care and supporting patients through every stage of their recovery.
