John qualified from Teesside University, Middlesbrough in 2013. Following graduation, he worked in both NHS and private sector of the northeast England before moving to London. He has also treated elite national and international level triathletes and runners in London.

Clinically, John is also experienced in the treatment and diagnosis of lower limb and running related injuries. His experience in marathon and ultra-marathon running helps him relate to his patients experiences in the preparation and execution of training. He also utilises running analysis within the clinic to help diagnose and treat any running issues. John also has a keen interest the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of upper limb injuries as he has experienced being on the receiving end of physiotherapy treatment for injuries which he has occurred when playing rugby and Gaelic football.

John’s approach is one of looking at the person as a whole and creating an individualised programme for a client’s return to injury and pain free status. He achieves this by focusing on step-by-step goals to get his patients back in action via exercise therapy and manual therapy.

Outside of work, John is a keen runner and is currently in training for the Ring of steal Skyrace in Scotland in September. He has previously completed marathons, one day ultramarathons and completed a 5-day multi-stage ultramarathon in Jordan’s Wadi Rum dessert.
