Yasmin Palfrey
QUALIFICATIONS: BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, CSP & HCPC registered.
Yasmin is a specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist who graduated with a 1st class honours degree from Manchester Metropolitan University. She continued to develop her skills within the NHS where she treated a broad range of clients in a variety of disciplines from sports injury to post operative rehabilitation, women’s health and chronic pain. She is dedicated to getting patients back to their best whether that be returning to football, CrossFit, or simple everyday actives. During her time in the NHS, she helped develop rehabilitation protocols and classes for patients following ACL reconstruction surgery to help them achieve their physical and sporting goals.
Yasmin is currently completing an MSc in Advanced Physiotherapy practice and is committed to further learning and evidence-based practice so that her patients are offered the best possible care. She follows a holistic approach to physiotherapy that incorporates hands-on skills and exercise rehabilitation, whilst helping you understand the mind-body connection. Yasmin has also trained in acupuncture, dry needling, and massage.
Yasmin is a physiotherapist that can help motivate you to reach your goals, encourage healthy behaviours and help you develop physical and mental strength when recovering from injury or pain. Whilst she treats all musculoskeletal disorders, her specialist interests are hip and groin injuries, lower limb, yoga and running injuries. She has studied and trained extensively in order to develop advanced assessment and treatment skills.
In her spare time Yasmin works as a freelance journalist covering topics such as injury prevention and recovery. She enjoys running, yoga and lifting weights, as well as the odd cocktail and strong coffee.
