Scott is a highly experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. He graduated with a first class BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy 2005, holds a BSc (Hons) Sport & Exercise Science degree and has undertaken a number of post graduate MSc qualifications.
Scott has a special interest in the treatment and management of running related injuries. He has worked as part of a multi-disciplinary Sports & Exercise Medicine Clinicl, where he was responsible for establishing a Physiotherapy Running Gait Clinic. The clinic delivered running specific rehabilitation programs, gait retraining, and involved working closely with a team of sports & exercise medicine doctors, orthopaedic & podiatric surgeons to achieve optimal patient outcomes. He enjoys working with runners of all abilities.
Scott currently divides his time between private practice and working as an Orthopaedic Practitioner in an extended scope role, where he is responsible for requesting diagnostic imaging and providing musculoskeletal injection therapy at a large NHS teaching hospital in Surrey where he works closely with orthopaedic consultants to deliver the most appropriate assessment & treatment to patients.
Scott is a keen distance runner having completed numerous half marathons, full marathons and a couple of ultra-marathons over the past 16 years. His current marathon personal best is 2 hours 37 minutes set at the TCS Amsterdam Marathon in 2016 - which he hopes to improve on!
