Jake Heath

QUALIFICATIONS: BSc (Hons) Podiatric Medicine, state registered and sports specialist podiatrist.

Jake graduated as a podiatrist in 2007 from the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, and has fulfilled various roles in the NHS and private clinics throughout his career to date. In 2014 he specialised in musculoskeletal (MSK) healthcare working in paediatrics and leading NHS MSK teams supporting junior podiatrists and assisting NHS trusts through CQC inspections. His education and experience have led to him currently working towards his Professional Doctorate in Elite Performance. In 2021 Jake left the NHS to work in Spain with world leaders Podoactiva, who treat La Liga, Team Espana Olympics and Spanish national football team clinic. At present he regularly works with Premier League football teams to deliver expert care and assist team medical staff with players’ foot and ankle pathologies. Assessing, treating, and prescribing for elite level athletes has added an additional speciality to his years of experience treating a wide variety of MSK patients. Jake has ongoing relationships with elite sports clinics and the Royal College of Podiatry to ensure constant innovation and growth of the sector of sports specialist podiatry. He utilises state-of-the-art, high-tech and evidence-based protocols used in Champions League winning clubs to apply to his UK client base.
