Andrea is a highly specialised physiotherapist. Having graduated from Cardiff University in 2001, she gained extensive experience within NHS and private hospitals. In 2008 she completed her MSc in advanced sports musculoskeletal physiotherapy at King College and published her tendinopathy-based research. Andrea has since worked within a multidisciplinary sports medicine setting treating a wide variety of conditions and believes in the importance of early diagnosis, a clear treatment plan and a holistic approach. She has an established network of London based specialists whose expertise she can utilize to enable patients to fully achieve their goals.
Andrea will employ a variety of manual therapies, combined with a specific rehabilitation and strengthening programme and with a strong focus on movement quality. Her specialist interests include the hip and groin, knee injuries, the spine and both lower limb tendon pathology and running related problems.
Andrea has also worked within Rugby and for the ITF and WTA treating professional tennis players on tour. She has worked with the LTA funded players managing not just their physical injuries but also their training load. Andrea worked at the 2012 London Olympics and helped prepare several athletes ahead of the commonwealth games and 2016 Olympics.
Andrea is a qualified yoga teacher and also offers 1:1 yoga lessons and plans to incorporate this into her patient care having experienced huge benefit from her own practice especially during times of injury. Coming from a running background she previously represented GB as an age group 70.3 triathlete but currently prefers to run a little more casually with her beloved Hungarian Vizsla puppy, Axl Rose
